New Aspire Awardees -- Spring 2016 Update



Ball State University's Aspire Internal Grant Program provides funding to faculty, professional personnel, and students to support projects in the areas of research, scholarly studies, and creative endeavors.   Aspire awards advance the goal of ultimately seeking sponsorship from external funding agencies. 

Funds awarded through the Aspire competitions are open to faculty and professional personnel and students.

2016 Student Symposium Keys/Litten/Smith Award Winners



This 2016 Student Symposium at Ball State University took place this past Friday on the second floor of the LA Pittenger Student Center. The event included a poster session and moderated paper presentations throughout the afternoon. The day ended with a keynote address from Sue McDowell, professor of Biology and current Ball State Researcher of the Year, and the presentation of the Keys/Litten/Smith Awards.

Join us at the 2016 Student Symposium this Friday, April 8th, at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center

On Friday, April 08, the 2016 Student Symposium at Ball State University will take place on the second floor of the L.A. Pittenger Student Center.

The Symposium will feature a poster session in the ballroom with over one-hundred student participants from all across campus, as well as moderated paper presentations taking place throughout the afternoon in various locations in the Student Center.

The Symposium opens to the public at 1pm and concludes with a ceremony at 3:45pm in Cardinal Hall. Remarks will be given by Sue McDowell, professor of biology and current Ball State University Researcher of the Year, followed by the presentation of the Keys-Litten-Smith awards.

Please join us this Friday afternoon at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center as we showcase Ball State's creative and scholarly student works.
